How to become a CPA in Maryland
Because specific classes and requirements to complete an accounting major vary from school to school, MACPA advises you to stay in close contact with your academic advisor, accounting or business department chair, and your individual professors. They will be able to guide you through your undergraduate career. Remember you need 150 semester hours to sit for the CPA exam.

In addition, the State Board of Public Accountancy sets certain guidelines to take the CPA Exam. Check out what you need by going here: State Board of Public Accountancy Education Requirements
