Applicant's Statement

In submitting this application, I hereby certify that:

1. I am committed to obtaining 150 hours of higher education with a degree in accounting and to pursuing a career as a CPA. I have demonstrated this commitment by joining Tomorrow's CPA as a student member.

2. I am a U.S. citizen and Maryland resident and attend a Maryland college or university.

3. I will have completed no less than 60 total credit hours by the time of the award of which at least 6 hours of credit are accounting courses (including Accounting Principles I and II).

4. I am taking enough undergraduate level courses or graduate level courses during the semester in which this application is being submitted and that I will continue at this level with appropriate courses for the 150-hour requirement and eligibility for sitting for the CPA exam in Maryland.

5. I will use the proceeds of this scholarship for the payment of tuition, required fees, room, board, required materials or books or other expenses directly related to my education.

6. If I am awarded a scholarship, I will provide satisfactory evidence at the end of the current semester of my enrollment as a full-time student and my grades during the period for which this application is being submitted.

7. If I am awarded the scholarship, I will respond to requests for evidence of my continued eligibility for renewal of the scholarship.
