Grades

Grades are mailed to examinees on the official AICPA release date by the Board and a list of successful candidates is posted at the Calvert Street entrance at 500 N. Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD 21202 and also on the State Board's web site under the "What's New?" section.

With the grade notice, successful candidates will receive instructions regarding obtaining the AICPA home study course in Ethics, passage of which is a requirement of licensure in Maryland. Successful candidates will also receive information on how to apply for original licensure in Maryland to include the new experience requirement effective 10/1/99.

Conditioning

If you don't pass all of the sections:

In order to receive conditional credit, the examinee must sit for all parts, receive a grade of 75 or higher in two subjects in the examination and have a minimum grade of 50 or better in each subject which the examinee has failed to pass.

Once conditional credit is earned, the examinee must pass the remaining parts in the next 5 succeeding examinations given by the Board and the examinee must sit for all parts needed to pass the entire examination at each subsequent sitting.
