FAQ
Should someone with average math skills even consider an accounting major? Absolutely. Proficiency in accounting will help you pursue your interest in business. Even though math is an important part of the accounting major and the CPA profession, it is not the only part. Accountants and CPAs are required to be articulate thinkers and communicators as well as leaders. The best way to determine how right accounting is for you is to take classes in the subject and discuss this career option with professors and others in the field.
