FAQ
Can you tell me the ups and downs of being a CPA? CPAs are entrusted with public trust from verifying an individual's taxes to certifying the financial statements of major corporations. In this way, the career track is very demanding but don't forget, very much in demand as well. While it is certainly an involved and rigorous course of study, the professional gratification and responsibility, as well as career possibilities are unmatched. Your career choice is a considered decision and you should explore it by taking courses in accounting, as well as discuss this with professors and other professionals you may know. www.startheregoplaces.com/cpastoday/

Why I want to be a CPA: It is the profession that attracts me with its accuracy, with less gray areas than some other professions have. CPA is a good background for any kind of profession in the business world. In addition to that, I have been interning in a CPA firm and I seem to like public accounting and auditing a lot.
Favorite course: Advanced Accounting, with its accounting for mergers and acquisitions. It is very interesting to solve the puzzle of consolidated financial statements.
Least favorite course: Rights and Revolution some philosophy class that I took a long time ago.
What people say when I tell them my career choice: "Oh, interesting. I hated accounting when I took it in college." 95 percent. The remaining 5 percent actually like accounting themselves and are approving my career choice.
