A great time for accountants
It's a great time to be an accountant. To the novice or outsider, this statement may at first seem bold. After all, haven't we just been through two years of ceaseless business scandals, with many accountants and financial executives arrested and disgraced?

TCPA member profits from CPA Day in Annapolis
"I would say that I got two big things out of it. One is that I got
to meet a lot of CPAs, picking their brains and making connections for the future. However, the most important thing is what it did to my attitude and morale. Before CPA Day if someone asked me what profession I was in, I would say I was a title researcher hoping to become a CPA one day. Now I would say I am beginning my CPA career. That is a huge moral and motivation boost. I got all this and all I had to give up was a day's
pay. That's a lot more asset then liability on anyone's balance sheet."
