State Board provides exam update

Within the next several months, the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy expects to be mailing information to all qualified candidates on how to register to take the CPA examination. The State Board's Web site describes some important new features, including online registration and fees.

Report: Big Four suffer audit client losses in 2003

For the first time in at least a decade, all of the Big Four firms lost more public company audit clients than they acquired in 2003, while their B-level counterparts picked up a collective 21 percent of the clients lost by the Big Four, according to a report by Auditor-Trak.
