In its fight against fraud, the FBI has partnered with the accounting profession to uncover and prevent financial corruption. The agency will be calling on CPAs to act as objective, third-party expert witnesses and is actively recruiting CPAs to become a key part of its team.

CPA exam delayed in Maryland
A legal technicality has required the review and approval of a new contract that will enable Maryland's State Board of Public Accountancy to register candidates for the new computerized exam. Sarbanes to speak at Towson
Sen. Paul Sarbanes will speak at Towson University at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 26. The topic will be "Civic Engagement: Why Your Participation Matters." A reception will precede Sen.
