U.N. to use CPAs to track billions pledged to help tsunami victims

The United Nations said it will use an outside firm of accountants to help track the billions of dollars pledged to help the victims of the tsunami in the Indian Ocean. PricewaterhouseCoopers has offered its services on a pro bono, or no fee, basis to the United Nations.

The new SAT: (a) Ready or (b) Not?

The new SAT debuts in March, much to the trepidation of many high school students and their parents. The new college admissions test will have some significant changes, including the addition of a 25-minute written essay and a multiple-choice writing section that tests a student's grammar skills.

Partnership: Relationship between two or more persons based on a written, oral or implied agreement whereby they agree to carry on a trade or business for profit and share the resulting profits.
