CPA firms hiring thousands of '05 grads

The job market for 2005 college graduates is predicted to be the best since 2000, according to Michigan State University's annual Recruiting Trends survey. The top employers include several accounting and consulting firms.

    Comptroller offers free high school course about Maryland taxes

    Maryland Comptroller William Donald Schaefer's office has added an education course on his agency's Web site that high school teachers and students can download to learn about Maryland state and local taxes. Find more information at:

    Give us a run for the money!

    Attention, all runners, walkers and volunteers! It's the MACPA's annual 1040K Run and 1040EZ Fun Walk, scheduled for Saturday, April 30 at Rash Field in Baltimore.
