Medstar Research Institute summer intern (full time, paid): Responsible for supporting a wide range of finance functions related to billing, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, management reporting, system conversion and external audit. The Women’s Housing Coalition accounting intern (volunteer): This Baltimore-based, non-profit organization provides housing and support services to homeless women and children. This is a great opportunity for a student looking for accounting experience in the non-corporate sector and to interact with local government agencies. Must be proficient in Excel and willing to learn Quikbooks. You will provide general accounting support to the organization’s accountant and be involved in the billing process. The internship is 16 hours per week and is available immediately. Must have own transportation and a valid Maryland driver’s license.
